Damn. I just added direct tv for the low costs. Their bundle with AT&T was too good to pass up. I'm now getting UVerse 50 and DTV Xtra package for $104/month.
Im sure once the 2 year agreement is up I'll have to switch back to cox internet and Dish TV since sign up deals are the only way to conveniently save money (I tried streaming, not for me). REALLY glad to be done with Cox for 2 years though.
They will triple your bill in 3 months.

Everything is on demand so no DVR needed

What problem do you experience with Kodi?
Live TV, sports events, UFC ppvs all get choppy and laggy. I've tried both Flawless and Ultimatemania. They are both good for the price, but unreliable.

Can't get acestream to work properly for live streaming even though it is downloaded and running. I also use firestick. Also, but not really a complaint, a lot of links are bad but like I said this one is to be expected so I assume the same will be true for live feeds.

Finally got acestream to work, if you can find a good acestream feed it works great.

I did the same thing. They threw in a $350 visa gift card as well. This ended up being cheaper than cutting the cord and going with a service like vue or dtvnow

I just dumped DIRECTV too. Was at 200+ per month. On Vue now with Netflix, amazon, Pluto (sucks but free) and it's been fine. Only channel I miss is a&E for now. Damn fire sticks are on back order so won't get mine until week after next.
The main reason I'm posting is the deal DIRECTV offered me after disconnecting. They offered me the full premier plus package I had, 3 receivers, etc., plus free Sunday ticket AND a $200 gift card to go back. For $72/month.
I declined for two reasons. One, it sounded a little too good to be true. And two, DIRECTV phone center, which I rarely ever call, and their website has gone to shite since AT&T purchased them.
Been with DIRECTV longer than my wife. Was good while it lasted. Saving $140+/month now.
ETA they offered a discount to like $145 a month when I was cancelling. When I called about 10 days after cancelling because they charged my full bill is when they offered me the $72/month deal.
