~Mom coming out of Albertson's with two toddlers, not watching cross traffic.

I text at the urinal all the time. IMO it's one of the BEST places to look at your phone. It's private, you aren't in the social company of others, you have a free hand, and you have about a minute of nothing but staring at the wall. What's dumb about it?

You talking about the rider or passenger? I agree if it was the rider but unless they're on a sport bike or something with no sissy bar there's no reason the passenger on a bike cannot text.
