For Rio de Janeiro native Marcio Mizael Matolias, home is a sandcastle that he built on the beach. He has lived there full-time for the past 22 years.

The fantastical appearance of the 10-square-foot castle was inspired by architects Antoni Gaudi and Oscar Niemeyer. It also houses a used bookshop that he runs to fund his living expenses.

My mattress is more than two times bigger than 10 sq ft. It's not even a king. Neither am I though

Give him some credit. He built his business from the ground up.

I'm also calling bullshite. 10 square feet is just over 3 foot by 3 foot. That's impossible.

They probably fricked up and meant 10 square meters. That's more doable as that's about 10' X 10'

I'd like to see his reaction if I did this through his house.
