So many interesting questions:

1) Why is there a straight line of red counties north/south in Mississippi?

2) Why is north Alabama yellow and south Alabama blue?

3) Why is Cook County, Illinois yellow?

You ever heard of Baptists and the Church of Christ?

I would think religion would be greater in south Alabama. All that sweltering heat to turn those fire and brimstone sermons from abstract to concrete.

What's the source link? I can read it what it says, but it doesn't look accurate for Texas counties I'm familiar with. There are no "no restriction" counties in Texas, and counties we consider "wet" are Yellow.

Was stationed in Alabama and you had to pay 1 dollar to be a private member to be served alcohol on a Sunday. It was the stupidest thing ever, I even had a table of people that were seated next next to me and my friends that had beer and they requested to move because they did not want to be next to alcohol on Sunday. I will never understand those kind of people. On another note it is funny when I worked with people who moved from these dry or semi dry counties. They get freaked out when you can purchase alcohol just about anywhere. The best was talking to some guys from New York that did not believe me that we had drive thru daiquiri shops. I showed them and they freaked out.

Utah restricts ABV of beer but not any sales which is surprising if you go to the extent of regulating beer.

Utah has all kinds of crazy regs around on premise alcohol sales. I was very surprised to not see some dry or restrictive areas there.
