You can easily Google 100s of stories of people losing their legs and other limbs to boat props and living
It happens multiple times every single year. I can think of 5 alone on Belle river the last few years

Those incidents seem to be well documented.
Here's a resource that might be better than just Googling. It's all about Propeller Safety. It even has a section that breaks down media coverage of accidents by calendar year.

I just don't believe YOUR particular story!
