I was looking at this as well. She's got to be shitting herself.

Works great for doctors who have finished residency. If this wasn't a national story it would probably work for her too, but her program is being pressured to release her six months from completion. She's not going to be able to get into another one.

I'm intimately familiar with these programs. That's why I'm 99.9% positive she'll end up here. She's not going to like the random tests.

But in my personal experience, when they do (i.e. when we did) they blow it out. A lot of pent up stress combined with taking full advantage of the time off not uncommonly resulted in typical drunken behavior.
This is my experience with law students. They get shut in for a few months studying then go out one night and cannot handle themselves
I can only imagine it's worse for residents

That seems to work with a lot of professions
These programs are not the run of the mill AA/treatment programs that normal people get into. Now it may vary state to state, but the ones I do know about are very strict. Like I said, random, crazy hour urine screens, etc. are just one of the inconveniences of these programs.

She's got a sort of Jersey Shore look going on.
This whole situation is the exact result of today's SJW mentality. Even if she finishes her residency, she will probably be doxxed for a long time, and the SJW will make sure they terrorize any internet activity, living space, or mailing address that can be found via public records.
It's a lynch mob.

That's the tone the apologists use for dindus

I love /b/ and am a long time user/poster on 4chan but I have no idea how it hasn't been shut down yet. They have caused a lot of people grief and like many have said are the very definition of "internet terrorists"

I think you overestimate the attention span of this "mob". They'll move on to the next cause soon enough. And for those condemning them, all they did was make a video public. I don't see how it's "mob justice" if they didn't do anything except release public information.
(Besides I guess the Photoshop nudes, but that was just a public service cause we all wanted to see her naked)

Dat female privilege.

i'd like to dig into her privilege.

they did more than that. 4chan drove all her MD review sites to 1 star and posted literally thousands of terrible reviews on any site she is on professionally.
They posted all her info, address, phone number, parents entire info, they posted all her social media links, they gave the phone number to her supervisor, her place of employment, her cell phone number, her email...
it goes on

Haha no doubt.
I had a good friend who had to do it after a DUI while in residency. Not a drop of alcohol for three whole years.
Plus those random drug test were brutal, "I could give two shits that you just got done working 36 hours straight and you only have eight hours until you have to be back at the hospital. Get your arse over here and pee in a cup."

This is exactly how people get swatted, their identity stolen, and sent threatening emails/packages.
Her info has probably already been sold to the highest bidder.

I kinda feel bad after sleeping on it knowing that one black out drunk night (she was a real bitch) coujd ruin so many years of hard work. I mean, it's not like she always on -call and out partying. Some ppl just like to watch other ppl burn

OK that's a little fricked up, but who puts stock in medical yelp? It seems harmless enough.

This, I don't give a shite about as long as that was all public information in the first place. All this attention will wear off pretty soon and the people at her school will make a reasonable decision based on her actions, not the opinions of 4 chan. So who gives a shite?

Exactly. 4am and you're sound asleep? Get your arse in here for a test! 3 years is an eternity for these types of programs and the enforcement of them because they are so brutal. Also, because you're in one and it's about job retention, you get paid shite.
