And yet you have medical professionals on here that have found that it does help in a lot cases where people are lazy and don't clean good enough.

Let's face it, it's not that barbaric when done properly. It doesn't cause issues nearly as bad as your group claims about genital mutilation. And people are going to continue to be lazy and cause UTIs by not cleaning it properly if not done.

File this in the this topic really fricking doesnt matter bin and you should do it to your baby boy if you want to or not. I wish both sides would just shut the frick up about it.

I see a couple of things wrong with this story.

1. It was done at a health center and not a hospital. I doubt they do a lot of circumcisions there.

2. Why wait until the baby is 3 months old? My son's was done the day after he was born.

It is brutal seeing the fresh wounds, but it looked nice within 3 or 4 days. That mushroom's got a head on it now.

yep, we should stop shaving too. it is hair mutilation. Don't want people nicking themselves with razors

It's now accepted in the medical community that the cons of circumcision outweigh the pros. This is why medicare won't cover it anymore.

Sounds like they weren't cleaning it properly. Maybe we should circumcise females too to be safe.

There was a similar story in Lake Charles in the mid-late 80's. My grandfather was the judge in the family court case.

Toddler's penis was severely burned and the doctors suggested a sex change, parents refused. Urinary tract was rerouted and he pees through a whole where his penis used to be.

Sad, but there's risk in all medical procedures. I've never once considered not circumcising and future boys I might have.

AAP just said it was unnecessary in a paper. AAP even came out and said they were not happy that their paper was being used by states dropping coverage for it. They have even put out additional papers showing benefits since then...

Some states still cover it.

AAP also makes controversial statements about gun control as well, so I wouldn't hold anything they put out in some sort of special light.

Methodist Hospital in Houston has a Pelvic Repair clinic. They will build a brand new penis that's fairly functional. Nope it really exists ... they started offering the procedure originally for cancer patients (ouch). Hopefully none of us will never need that info, but you tuck it away .....just in case.

Quote from the site: "Cavernous nerve grafting is providing new possibilities for reversing impaired potency after radical prostate surgery. Advanced surgical procedures are available for correcting external deformities of the male genitalia produced by trauma, tumor, infection or congenital differences including total penile reconstruction utilizing microsurgical techniques."

circumcision takes a whopping 10 minutes and that counts local anesthesia.

This is what happens when you let Optometrists do surgery...

I am, but if you teach your son to wash right, it will never be an issue.

It's that easy right? While I'm going through the trouble of making sure my son brushed his teeth for the night, you'll have the added fun at inspecting his little anteater to make sure he did that right as well.

My son got nipped last week. Didn't even cry and it was all good with 72 hours. Don't be mad at his handsome junk

Another reason why circumcision should be banned. It's genital mutilation

I think confidence that a girl won't be grossed out by your dick outweighs a little pain when your kid is 1 day old. (Speaking of circumcisions without complications)

I've never heard a girl say that she is not grossed out by an uncircumcised peen.

7) When I am 40, I‘ll probably need Viagra to get and maintain an erection because circumcision causes erectile dysfunction. Oh it‘s pretty embarrassing if some 80 year old intact man in Europe can still enjoy sex naturally while I need to take blue pills because my culture thought it was a good idea to frick with my penis!

Whoever wrote the above is full of shite. I am almost 60, yep circumcised, and no I don't need an ED medication. Weekend guests leave pleased, and yes they are females. This kid is obsession over nothing. If you need ED meds at 40, there's a problem.
