I knew some male cheerleaders in college. A couple of them would get some play every now and then, but most were permanent friend zone residents.

Nothing wrong with a guy being a cheerleader, but I've got to say, it's a little strange at 8 years old. Most of the straight guy college cheerleaders I know were playing football at that age. The folks I know that turned out to be gay preferred cheering/twirling at that age over football and such.

Lil dude's probably gay, and doesn't realize yet. Everyone will likely live.

Pretty funny story about that kinda thing.....

Went to a client's kid's football game one time. His kid was about 8, and was the team's lil' QB. His first start, dad was proud, good client, I showed up.

Another kid on the sidelines, probably 7 or 8, was hanging with the cheerleaders, doing cheers/pom pom things, and such. Pretty effeminate kid.

Client looks at me, in full coach mode, with his arms folded across his chest, blankly staring at the field. Says "Trey, do me a favor.....if you ever come to one of my kid's games, and for some reason I'm not here, and he's got a pom pom, and hanging with the cheerleaders, please beat his arse....unless he's trying to stick the pom pom IN a cheerleader."
