according to a news report on WWL. Some woman from Ford had a reporter put on a head set that blurred her vision and put heavy weights on her hands, and of course a rep from MADD had a chime in. The whole piece was ridiculous. sorry no link, on tv.

Well, to be fair, I’ve woken up drunk as shite.....if the BAC is high, doesn’t matter when it is.

Now, if they contend it’s as bad without alcohol levels in the blood, well then driving with a stomach virus is illegal too.

Um, kind of a dumb experiment. When you have a real hangover, chances are you're still drunk from the night before.

When I drove drunk, I followed every law I knew and prayed I made it home.

When I drive hungover, I pray someone hits me head on.

I believe.

Anyone have the awareness program in high school come in with the drunk goggles?

Make you shoot free throws? Walk a line? Actually drive a golf cart?

I skipped the first and went to the golf cart drunk driving..I just floored it and ran through all the cones.

This is the reason you drink a bloody mary before you drive.

Damn amateurs.

I'm sure it made perfect sense at the time! However, if you're too drunk to drive, you're probably too drunk to be at work for most occupations.

Very misleading story rooted in fact. A retired cop I know has told me he gave as many dwi’s in the morning between 6-10 as he did at night. BAC takes a while to go down and just crashing for 4-6 hours will not sober you up if you had an all night bender. Sounds like common sense but many people equate sleeping with sobering up and not realizing it’s a formula that can’t be sped up.

I don't doubt that most guys waking up after a big drunk and four hours sleep would blow above the legal limit. Probably WAY above.

I had an Intoxalock, 5 hours after drinking 7 beers, before I could be OK.

If I really made it work, 16 beers, after 10 hours, I was OK.

12 beers and 4 shots was 12 hours.

This is all for 0.00

I was one of them, I would party till the bars close, sleep maybe 4 hours and go to work. Don't have to worry about it today, just parting till 3 AM and sleeping only 4 hours would be fatal.
