Hwy 30 was one lane when I passed at 145. Northbound lane closed due to 18 wheeler losing his trailer. About here

I'm leaving in about 10 minutes. Going 30 to the interstate in Gonzales then taking the airline exit taking that to te luling bridge. Ill update if I survive on how it's looking.

Would it be a bad idea to take i10 from Metairie to hwy 22? Seems like if it's closed at the Sorrento exit I'd be able to get off there and make my way. Unless you're saying the interstate being closed is causing a major traffic jam.

Flying into New Orleans in about two hours. Best way to get home?
Interstate 10 or Airline Highway?
Sorry if this has been discussed, jumped straight to this page due to time constraints.

Either airline the whole way or I10 to Sorrento/61. That is where they have I10 blocked and pushing people off

You could take Airline all the way, or take I-10 to
Sorrento, and catch Airline there.
This is the best I can tell from
La DOTD closures
If you're on a phone 'zoom' in and you can see it better.
