Way to keep up and read. We're specifically talking about attorneys in that little back and forth.

The millennials are a natural reaction to the boomers and a product of boomer living.
Old fricks won't retire or double dip reducing the jobs available to the millennials. Retirement systems are complete shite now. People don't want to spend all their time at meaningless shite jobs like the Boomers who won't go home from them.
Boomers took a decent country and ran it into the shitter and now looking for someone else to blame. Dr Phil can go frick himself.
I don't get this hating on kids living with their parents/grandparents when they are working a full time job and trying to better themselves. This is a uniquely American way of thought. It's not frowned upon outside of this country and isn't a bad idea if you get along with your folks and are a contributor to the household. If you are a deadbeat, then that's a different story.

Boomer shoulder a ton of blame here for sure. However, they were/are workers. Gen X prides themselves on work ethic. This is the first time we've really seen an overall look at me/entitlement generation.

This is a good point.

So, blaming the worlds problems on 20 and 30 somethings seems appropriate for the older generation
The world's problems??? No, sonny boy, you are blaming your problems on the world. Kind of a distortion of fact and passing of blame. You are the only one to blame for your problems

I'm 41, so definitely not a boomer. The boomers have messed a lot of things up but sitting around bitching about it doesn't fix it. Being smarter and working harder will. I do question a large percentage of millenials on if they have the work ethic necessary to improve things.
My grandpa was born in 1917. He never once blamed his parents on him becoming an adult in the middle of the Great Depression.

A part of this is being a product of THEIR prior generation.
the BOLD seems contradictory to the first part.

As huge of an over-simplification as any in this thread.

Good point...Americans are different though..Hell our attitude about a bunch of stuff is different from the world...guns, nudity, sex, manual labor, drugs, materialism, etc.

When are y'all going to realize that blaming entire generations for problems will get us nowhere? We need to come together and start blaming entire races in order to see real change.

I think the work ethic is a natural bounce back to the boomers though.
We need to be somewhere in the middle. Work doesn't need to consume our life like the Boomers did and are still doing. This country works too hard and it should cut back a lot. No reason to spend as much time as we do and studies show we work harder while on the clock if we work less than 40.

Ah... baby boomers.
Gotta love em.
Rode the wave that their amazing parents generated... spit on soldiers coming home from Vietnam. Took divorce to new heights and raised a bunch of shitheads they'd rather not be associated with.

I understand that and agree. My point was more about the people that can't support themselves or their family on 40 hrs a week. If it takes 60 hrs a week, you have to do what you have to do.
