Just about like the other one, Thomas. I guess original thought is not your long suit?

every generation thinks they are smarter than the one that came before and wiser than the one that comes after.

Probably are, because of access to technology and information.

Probably are because they are older and more experienced.

when does the resiliency kick in? So far it just seems to be a lot of whining.

Every generation from here on out is going to recognize they are better and smarter than the boomers. They are firmly cemented as the worst generation in modern day society

There was a lot of whining in the 60's and 70's too...its all cyclical.

I'm GenX. Baby boomers and millennials are basically the exact same.

What would be helpful is that succeeding generations could more effectively learn from prior ones. Too often the same mistakes are made, albeit with slight twists...maybe making them unrecognizable??

FTR, I am not sure that succeeding generations ARE smarter but the info that they learn is different....I think about all of the knowledge that has been forgotten and it makes my head spin....and yes, so does standing up too fast but I digress.

There are more individual success stories in the Millennials at a young age than ever before as well. This board just chooses to ignore the overwhelming success stories

Well put. I think true intelligence, profound intelligence, comes from time alone, quiet thought, etc. All of our connectivity has sent this down the road...

Now you frickers get off my lawn so I can think!!

Once again, you are blaming the 6 year old millenial for accepting the trophy, and not the adult dumb fricking boomer that gave it to them?
