Downtown BR Protestor

The man who regularly protests around Baton Rouge, mostly on immigrants taking construction jobs was downtown today near the 3rd Street construction site during lunch. After walking back from lunch, police had him cuffed and was escorting him to the station. Talked to a few people who witnessed it and they said he didn't do anything out of the ordinary besides continuing to hold his sign and his usual yelling, but supposedly the cops were really rough on him. Anyone watched it go down?

Sometimes you just deserve a little stick time and a ride to the holding pen.

Is he protesting "immigrants" or "illegal immigrants"? Big, big difference. Although protesting isn't illegal so long as not blocking traffic, tresspassing, etc.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I understand protesting, but don't really understand the people who do it. If he does this often, has he made any progress? I'm assuming the answer is no, and he's probably not all there.

I'm sure a video will surface soon if this actually happened.

idk, didn't read his sign.. heard him saying something about hispanic workers taking US construction jobs.
I know protesting isn't illegal, that's why i was wondering if something else happened for them to arrest him.

They're more than welcome to come take my job. I certainly don't want to do it.
