No, but I’m sure we share the same feelings on Chad Hughes

it didn't benefit "the community"
So fatigued with that phrase from NBR politicians.

I was there today. Did the old state capital tour. Everything was clean and looked nice, but it was a ghost town.
It has great potential but yeah it's definitely a ghost town. They need to add more residential homes there. Maybe build a Downtown BRCC campus to get more younger people to add more life to the place

Downtown BR was dead prior to Katrina and blew up years later

You’re welcome.
Read a book called Plunkitt of Tammany Hall. Then you will understand why powerful and influential people live differently.
Every great city has options for old people to enjoy themselves while wearing a dinner jacket and evening dress. If people are really dependent upon you then you’re not drinking three nights a week in downtown Baton Rouge. I can go on ad nauseum pointing out the obvious.
Anyway

The Shelter was before Katrina. So many cute girls dancing in there.

Wednesday dead
Not anymore. O'Hara's stole the weekly jam from Brickyard, so it's usually popping until midnight or so.

Downtown Hammond has a better nightlife that downtown Baton Rouge.
I think that's more of a compliment to Hammond than a diss to Baton Rouge.
Downtown Hammond is pretty great. Perfect for a small college town.
