Mine is 24' wide by 30' long, storage area is attached but separated by a wall, if you will use your garage for storage and parking it may need to be larger. Crew cab trucks are ˜ 20' long. 5' on either end in the garage keeps you from having to worry about pulling up to the wall to be able to close the garage door.

Natural gas/propane connection ran to exterior of house. You can plug your patio stove/grill up and never have to worry about propane bottles.

Hot & cold outside water spicket. I do a lot outside during the winter and nobody wants to mess with cold water at that time. Hell i even bathe the kids outside when they get dirty.

Make your patio bigger than you plan, you will spend more time out there than you think.

Electrical outlets in a cabinet or pantry, you can place your microwave in there so its hidden from plain site.

DO NOT PUT OUTLETS IN YOUR FLOOR!!!! Your ole lady is gonna constantly move shite around

If you build and office, make sure it has a closet, when you resale your house eventually, appraisers consider that an extra bedroom.

Electrical outlets under the facia on roof lines, makes xmas lighting easier.

Put in at least a three stall garage. I did and really wished I had gone with a four car. Put in extra wide doors and make it plenty long.

1. 3-4 car garage. If you can afford it, go with more garage space. Can be for cars, shop or storage.

2. Sink in garage.

3. Walk in Attic

If you go with the outlets under the facia, make those outlets switch controlled.

We were happy the way the white quartz and black granite worked together.

Don't spend more money on upgrading to an Outhouse for a bathroom. Go ahead and take the cheaper option and have them build a bathroom in the house itself. You can thank me later.
