I know it's gruesome, but that is how these guys deserve to die: scared out of their wits and pulling their hair out trying to avoid the needle. It's amazing how they cling to life after committing this:

If the governor was required to make good on the death sentence, should the prisoner be able to object if the governor tied a rope around his waist and drug him down a gravel road behind a pickup truck until the halves broke apart?

What if the governor chose some other way? Cinder block tied to his ankles and thrown into the gulf?

Beat him to death with a baseball bat?
