Donaldsonville to Baton Rouge Commute

I have a trial in Donaldsonville today at 1:00. It will probably last until about 3:30-4:00. Afterwards I have to drive back to Mississippi. Should I take sunshine bridge or LA 1 to the old bridge.

I would take the sunshine bridge then 22 all the way to I-55 then I-12

Just North of the Clinton/Slaugher area so Hwy. 19/Plank Rd.

Since you're going that way I would work your way to highway 77, go through Livonia, and work your way to New Roads and take the bridge there in St Francisville and you'll be close to where you need to go.
It's important to avoid Baton Rouge at that time of the day.

Nah man, just take 61 to the south loop, into Ascension Parish, then loop exit to 70 and Sunshine Bridge.

Sunshine, all day and erryday. I-10 to Sunshine Bridge then from there straight to D-ville.
LA 1 from I10 to Plaquemine is not just traffic-ridden but the roadway itself has gone to complete shite.
