He could have done a much better job and killed her campaign completely, and he didn't do that, but he did win. The reactions from both campaigns indicates tells the whole story there. Both sides know he won the debate.

At this point I'm thinking he did those "meme" moments because he knew the leftwing media would run with that to discredit him. The end result is this forced them to talk about the illegal Haitian alien migration problem going on and now the whole country knows about it. He "won" that entire point by forcing them to talk about something they were completely ignoring. It's why they can't understand the polls they're seeing while they also believe he "lost" the debate.
Yes, he's right they're eating domesticated animals. But even if he's wrong, who cares? That's a problem, but the much bigger problem is what this is doing to the areas where they're being settled. The media was ignoring that, and his "they're eating dogs" soundbite made them talk about it.
