Dotel was famously a pitcher for the Kansas City Royals and the St. Louis Cardinals. Crews were searching for potential survivors in the rubble at the one-story Jet Set nightclub, said Juan Manuel Méndez, director of the Center of Emergency Operations.
Dotel was reportedly among the eight people who were pulled alive from the rubble.

Santo Domingo and it’s pretty cool. They have some nice restaurants, beautiful women and good night clubs.
