Dog training recommendations for older dog

My 4 year old 110 lb 1/2 German Shepherd 1/2 Weimaraner up and bit a ~10 year old guest at my house the other day. He has never bitten anyone before and has always been good with children of all ages. Best I could tell what set him off was she was dancing in a manner the dog didn't like, and had shown signs of fear to the dog when she arrived.
Needless to say this can not happen again. Other than crating him each and every time we have guests, WTF should I do?

Call the cops and they will train the dog for you to the tune of several 9mm rounds.

I'm getting the level of response I would expect in this Hell.

no punishment, beat him? did you make him cower to know what a bad thing he did was?

assuming you are white as well, I've heard that dogs are sensitive to skin color different than that of their owner, if they aren't exposed to it often to get use to the difference.

Was the kid messing with the dog? Not that I'm excusing the behavior, but maybe the kid needs to be trained.
I freaked out when I was about 9 and my dog snapped at my friend's younger brother and my parents and his were discussing getting rid my dog. I watched that little fricker pulling his ears and opening his mouth real wide and told them through streams of tears until they finally believed me. I would have tortured that kid for the rest of my childhood if my dog had been put down.

Did she approach the dog or did he have make a move towards her?
Were you having a party? Lots of people, noise etc?? If so, is this type of situation new to him?

The exact opposite of this. He needs more social interaction. He needs to be around kids more often in a positive manner. Positive reinforcement works best with older dogs. You can use a "muzzle" not actual muzzle but the things they put on service dogs, if it makes you feel more comfortable. Last, this is most likely an isolated incident.
