This. My wife is a SAHM, with a relatively new photography business that brings in a little money.

My paycheck is public knowledge.

my wife is smart and very capable of running a budget/business but I have taken care of everything, financial wise for so long that if something were to happen to me it would be a little chaotic for a while to try and sort everything out, as it turns out I had an accident a few weeks ago resulting in a pretty serious injury, once I got back to being somewhat mobile and can sit up for a time I made a "777 has kicked the bucket" file for her, at the push of a button she can see all accounts, pins, insurance polices, contacts, liens, mortgages, titles, monies owed, monies due to us, will, whatever the case may be, also made sure the will is up to date
