It's telemarketing spam on social media.

One reason to respect Melaleuca is they have a strict policy against using social media. They'll fire you in an instant for using it because of the reasons mentioned in this thread. They think it's unprofessional. It's all word of mouth.

I wish Facebook would move these people to the Marketplace or whatever that sales area is.

My brother reports them all as spam to Facebook and Instagram

I'm sure the Rodan & Fields products are legit...but I'm not paying $$$ for them.

The lash stuff they sell that makes your lashes grow (which I'm sure works really well)....$150!

Yeah no thanks.

2) Her commissions on sales she actually personally made were between 15K and 30K.

Doesn't the SEC require that most of your income in MLM come from actual product commissions rather than new member recruitment?

Young, dumb housewives sell this shite because they feel guilty about sitting on their arse, playing on their phone all day while their husband keeps a roof over their head. Maybe he, also likely young and dumb, blames her for not contributing enough when the blame belongs on both of them for getting knocked up at 19 and deciding to play house.

If these chicks really wanted to bank some serious coin, they'd just sell their dirty panties online.

I remember moms bringing us kids together for "Tupperware parties." We'd be playing Super Nintendo while the mom's sold each other tupperware

Oh yeah.. frick that. So if all these people are paying $700 up front and they don't make any money.. then this company still gets $700.. That's crazy..

No, you have 6 months to decide if it something you want to do it. Return the kit within 6 months and they refund you the full amount.

My wife was customer and eventually started selling it to pay for the products. She only has one person under her that did it for the same reasons. My wife does not try to recruit or sell much.

She makes pretty decent money from it. Enough to cover her personal products and a family disney trip each year with a little left over.

One of my high school gf's, just quit her dietician job to do RF full time, I guess she's making more than telling diabetics to quit eating shite, don't blame her.

What do these people plan on doing once this goes bust? What was that one that leased black bimmers for people a few years ago?

Pretty sure he's a CPA so that's pretty important info to get from a client

So this "CPA" is just casually dropping real and specific details about his actual clients on the internet? Real professional...or fake. You decide it is the internet after all

Sounds remarkably similar to the talking points OP mentioned.

So your "client" is just casually telling you exactly how much his wife makes and exactly how much her expenses are huh? What a forethcoming individual

I am a CPA and I do tax and financial planning for this family. I have seen all the proof and support.

I am "dropping" non-identifying information as a way of educating the public about how this works. CPAs are needed to educate the masses about financial issues... because god knows no one else is!

No idea - that's not my area of speciality. I'm just telling you what the 1099 and commission reports say.

Maybe "actual product commissions" include overrides from people below them? I have no idea.

Oh, the type of person that understands how the system works?

it is all a sham. some are so the seller can get huge discounts on her make up and skin care. some are set up where you have to put a large chunk of money in 'start up' fees.
