We didn't have one because my firm is an oil industry engineering company. They cancelled the party last year because of so many layoffs and budget concerns.

Office Christmas parties are too privileged. We now have Kwanzaa parties.

We do Holiday parties during Christmas time. At one time we had to label ours Employee Appreciation Day or our JW couldn't/wouldn't attend.

Free food and booze AND I get to leave early? I don't care what you call it, I'm there.
