I managed a marine company, dangerous work, everyone tested. In fact, one pilot told me he left previous company because they didn't test non-licensed personnel, he hated working with dopers.

I used to work for a company that had a lot of workers in the field and before they would lay off people, they would do a "random" drug test on the people out in the field. It was considered the first round of layoffs when a project was ending.

I would too, that's pathetic if you can't put that shite down long enough to go to work and do your job

Fortune 100. Had a drug screen as part of hiring investigation circa 2015. Assuming that’s still a thing since the position involved going into people’s homes. After hiring though, they don’t test anyone. Everyone there smokes dope though and the only termination I know about was a dude who got caught smoking meth on the job after a customer complained.
Funny thing was I did their drug screen about a month after getting tested to work as a hospice volunteer. I went to the same clinic for both tests, and I noticed that the hospice paid for a more extensive screening (testing for more drugs) than the Fortune 100 company did.
