What gets under my skin the most is when they're listing off stuff and they unnecessarily use the uptick. It's hard to describe through the medium of an internet talk forum but I'll try.
My wife does it every time she's listing things off.
Ex. "We ate some fruit saaalaaad, had some mimooosaaas, ate some eggs and baaaconnnn"
College educated woman with a master's degree and a 6 figure job.

The trifecta of annoying speech. People seem to think it makes them sound smarter. I find it impossible to take them seriously.
