I feel like Trump is probably a minimalist kinda guy that mainly goes to places where he has an account and doesn't have to "check out" or has the places come to him and then bill him.

yeah, that was a pretty damaging photo op for him, iirc, he was amazed at the bar code scanner, which is a little puzzling because he had been head of the CIA not too long ago, from that time

It wasn't just a standard bar code scanner. It was a new system that helped track inventory and helped reorder. I think like what you see Walmart and Costco use. It was an overblown story.

A recent interview is that they are responsible for groceries every month - they get a bill. And the vacations are his to pay, s/s is paid by govt
