Not so much sites like this, message boards have been around since the dawn of the information super highway.

The ones with reach to the masses - Facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat, etc. They are fueling much of the hate going on right now, they should be labeled themselves as hate sites and groups.

frick you millennials for bringing this crap upon us.

King George probably labeled everything the founding fathers said as hate speech.

Yes. World would be a better place for it.

Too many idiots have a voice that don't need one.

Absolutely. My wife's facebook looks like Armageddon with all the idiocy going on. Especially with Harvey going on.

It will eventually, it's just a trend right now. And all trends end when it gets played out.

But how would we let everyone know about little Johnny winning the travel ball World Series and show of our wonderful vacation at Orange fricking Beach?

They don't need to die and I don't think they ever will, but they need some sort of check and balance to stop misinformation from spreading like wildfire.

I'm not talking about Facebook stopping conservative views.

What has worried me is that things like photoshopped racist Trump tweets pass for truth by the Forrest Gump level IQ's.

But then where would we post videos of us dumping buckets of ice water on ourselves?

I don't think it needs to die, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to see it reel itself in a good bit. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening.

PROBLEM: Facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat, etc. They are fueling much of the hate going on right now, they should be labeled themselves as hate sites and groups

SOLUTION: Act like a real grown-up and detach from Facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat, etc. Best thing I've done for my serenity. EVER.

Free speech in general needs a timeout. It seemed like a great idea before we found out how stupid everyone is.

I hate millennials as much as the next guy but the majority of the hate being spewed all over social media is uninformed old people who share every story they see on Facebook because if it's on the internet it must be true. They are retirees that have nothing but time on their hands.
