I mean, can I find out the results from my Dad's biopsy that he had done last week. The day before he died.
Will the Dr disclose this information?

I couldn't get any information of my wife's until I was named executor of her estate. Louisiana has some F'ed up laws when it comes to death let me tell you.

I'm executor of his estate and no I'm not thinking malpractice.

Just would like to find outfit that had any bearing on his death or was it just the kidney failure.

Just be warned that doctor's are going to be defensive as if they are worried about malpractice suits if he was in their care. I was able to get some information on my wife, but other information was sealed and would require a court order. My situation was different though in that my wife took her own life. Doctors, especially prescribing doctors and psych's get nervous about that. Lawsuits were obviously the furthest thing from my mind though. In the end the information I couldn't get I figured wouldn't bring her back anyway so I left it alone.
