Does anyone miss high school enough that they'd truly want to go back?

I see friends on social media saying things like "miss these days, take me back"
I miss parts of high school. No responsibilities, football, hanging out all day with my friends. That's about it. I couldn't imagine missing it so much that I wanted to do it over again. Kind of makes me feel bad for those people because it paints their lives in a very sad manner.

The no responsibilities part was cool but high school was not fun overall because you don't really have a clue how large and vast the world is until you've left your hometown. I hated the fact that I didn't realize how many people and experiences existed in the world.

This is just a random observation for me but usually the more nostalgic my friends on social media are the more you can bet they've not been very successful.
Maybe they're longing for the days of less responsibility more than anything else.

No, I have nightmares about having to go back every couple of months. And HS was a relatively good experience for me. I also have nightmares about college, and I loved college.

The people i see posting that drivel are usually the people who peaked in high school and are miserable adults now.

That's pretty true for the people I went to high school with
And most of them live in the same stupid town they grew up in so I don't see what they're missing
