Does anyone know the border situation at TX/LA state line?

Are they letting people through to Texas? I know they had a checkpoint at one point

Yes I just drove from Monroe to Dallas. Nobody is at the border.

I crossed last Friday west of Leesville. Before, they had a checkpoint. Friday there wasn’t one. They still had troopers there but they didn’t stop me from Louisiana. Don’t know if they were checking people from other states.

The police/state government never wanted to keep you guys out and at any time you could have come in. But personally I didn't want you to come in because you will bring in your bad habits and pose a threat to the civility of our state.

All I know is that I took my family to a TX state park near Junction and the hotel we stayed at had families from Lake Charles and New Orleans. With my two cars, there was at one point six cars parked next to each other in the parking lot that had either LA plates and/or LSU plate holders. The baw from Lake Chuck made it sound like he’d been doing this regularly since the lockdown.

Went to Sam Rayburn Tuesday. Crossed at the Toledo Bend dam. I stopped and knocked on the troopers window. He was sitting at the border. He looked up, saw my boat, and said go fishing man! Nice guy, and I got the feeling that he didn’t want to be sitting there.
