Does anyone know how long it’ll take for an engine’s cpu to correct the throttle intake?

I had a recent issue with reduced power/service stabilitrack on my Tahoe so I cleaned the throttle body of the carbon deposit buildup.
Doing so left a small air-gap that wasn’t there before I cleaned it, and the engine is a little rough at idle: slightly throttling up and down trying to adjust air flow.
What’s the verdict?

You should probably close the air gap.

I believe somewhere around 100 miles for it relearn.
ETA: are you saying there is a gap between the gasket and throttle body unit, or that there is a gap between the butterfly valve and the throttle body housing?

Took me about 60-70 miles of driving after I cleaned the throttle body after changing the maf sensor.
RPM’s were scary high as it figured things out and reset.

You have to check the papshmear compression gauge. It should be right next to or below the flux capacitor

Pull the neg battery cable to reset the ECM. Reconnect and let the truck idle for at least 10 mins without touching the gas. It will likely idle erratically for a bit but mellow out. That should help speed things up.

Small airgap between the throttle plate (when closed) and throttle body after cleaning the deposits.
