In that case, I've been racing drones for years.

No. Drone is a relatively new word people use because they think the government or anyone with a remote controlled airplane is spying on them.

i've been thinking about getting one for a while. It would be cool to fly it over tiger stadium during game time lol

You'd be begging for a lawsuit and/or criminal charges.

Brother has that and posted video of flying over Floridas stadium a couple of weeks ago. You can see his flight over Gators campus below.

Told him his arse would get in serious trouble flying at LSU.

My brother has a Parrot. Watched him with it, was terrific!

He can fly it for 12 min on one battery but said newer ones last much longer.

I want one of those phantom IIs. I want to attach my GoPro camera to it and take it backpacking in the mountains.

a DJI phantom? I'll buy for 500 if it has the gyro. Don't want the camera, just the gyro and drone

I see a lot of people throwing the go pro on the DJI but doesn't that eliminate the live video to smart phone option?

There's a free app for controls and such.

The wifi app on the go pro only works up to a certain distance. Once th drone is high in the air you will no longer have the connection on the app to mirror the image. At least in my experience with my 3+
