Funny, I was going to say no one gets on the stand without Maury approving it...and there you go.

I got to see an RS-25 test back in 2014.
Went with the AIAA LSU chapter for a tour.
Absolutely the loudest thing I've ever heard.
We were maybe a mile away. Definitely needed earplugs.

This probably isn't the place for this, but do you know of anyone hiring at Stennis?

Most everyone is listed here:
https://www.nasa.gov/centers/stennis/about/jobs/index.html
S3 seems to always be hiring. Relativity is a company not listed on that site, they’re usually hiring.
USAjobs...always seem to hire physical scientists and oceanographers.
My last company called yesterday and said they were looking for people to relocate to Kennedy Space Center on the Florida coast. Tons of stuff going on out there. Project managers, engineers...

I don't know all the details, but I heard it's going to be a blast.

While that’s a very basic but well written piece, I still wish I understood more about it. I guess I just can’t comprehend the magnitude of everything this incorporates.
As if I needed more proof, there are people a hell of a lot smarter than me on this planet.

Shameless bump- in case any NCEI sponsors who would like to invite me to a rocket test happen to read this thread today.
