The phrase "go make me a sandwich" was first introduced in a Saturday Night Live skit[6] that aired on December 16th, 1995
I love when people try and attribute things to something definitively
The idea that no one dismissively tells a woman to make them a sandwich without reference to this ransom SNL skit that doesn’t even use it in that context is ludicrous.
Articles are always written by people who have no understanding of how culture works lol.

Yet in your op, you wrote as though you didn't know where the term came from. You've apparently noticed the word more than anyone else on the OT, yet you seem to be the only one who hasn't figured it out. As others have said it's used in the stereotypical fashion of what the woman is supposed to make after you give her the sex. Outside of that, it seems the word is always spelled correctly as sandwich
I’ve always seen it and thought it was corny that people wrote it that way. I didn’t realize I wasn’t the only one that felt that way till that thread a while back.
The point was that it’s corny as frick , I envision someone writing it out and thinking that they are cool cuz they used slang .
The interesting part is that it’s become used so frequently.
That’s all I meant .
Btw, page 1
Someone started a thread asking people to list the ingredients in their favorite sammich not sandwich. Maybe it was aimed at me but it did happen

When a man says or writes the word sandwich, they almost always write sammich
I find it no more strange than grown men obsessing about it on the OT.
Now I'm hungry.
