The drinks are made weaker at tourist spots.

Probably from sweating out the alcohol from being in the sun.

Much like your pupils, sunlight dilates your pancreas. The increase in size allows for less absorption, making you pee more frequently and subsequently you don't retain as much alcohol compared to non sun imbibery.

Heat+alcohol is a no go, at least for me. So I guess it depends on where you are. Is this gates of hell SELA summer in the sun or West coast beaches in the sun?

Beach is a also little different because you have beach umbrellas and a little shade.

Also what are you drinking? 4.2% Bud light?

Liquor seems to have a more pronounced effect in the sun (but that's probably disorientation from lack of hydration), but notice no difference with beer.

Maybe because you sweat and get thirsty? Some alcohol may come out of your pores as sweat.

Florida beer (Bud, Miller, etc) has less alcohol content in it by law than Louisiana.

Are you trying to say you drink at the beach and not get drunk though? I'd recommend to not get the non-alcoholic beer next time.

I usually tip back a jug of shine while sitting in a commercial freezer. Is that bad?
