Lot of people talked about leaving after Obama, and more talked about leaving after Trump became president.
They're still here.

EDIT - I wrote this when the original question was "Would you ever change your citizenship?"
I know someone who just moved to England for a job and it got me thinking about this exact question. His job isn't temporary. He and his family plan to stay there for a long, long time.
He's in his 30s, so in the long run, he could spend more than half of his life in England. His kids will pretty much be British.
Should he change his citizenship eventually? I don't know. Maybe it's more of a financial decision in the long run.

At one time you didn't have to be a British citizen to join the London Metropolitan Police. Dont know if that is still true

Only if they'd go back to the rum ration.

I spent several weeks on an HMS several years back and they do in fact have beer taps on the mess decks

You should join the French Foreign Legion.
I don’t think you have to give up your citizenship, unless you really want to be French.

Yeah, I think they are still allotted two beers a day.
Not quite navy proof rum, but I guess it beats what our sailors get.
