Do you watch any YouTube series?

I used to only think that these YouTube channels were viewed primarily by kids, but more recently I've noticed adults talking about YouTube "stars" and their shows. I don't know the name of any of those guys until they get arrested or something and I only get on YouTube to watch content posted by TV shows I watch or old highlight videos or something.
Am I just being a curmudgeon who's missing out on a bunch of great content?
