This morning I flashed a driver approaching two deer running the shoulder of the road around a curve. I now fancy myself somewhat of a folk hero.

In some places, it’s against the law to flash warn oncoming cars about speed traps. I do it whenever I can, though, because I’m always thinking about other people. That’s what I do.

Its 1st amendment protected speech. Local ordinances do not over rule the constitution.

What if you flash the murderer they are looking for and he turns around?

You certainly would think that, but I remember a case that was heavily discussed here, where the flasher was fined…..now, that ruling may have been overturned later by a higher court, but it definitely happened.

Yeah, particularly if it is an 18 wheeler….they always are particularly appreciative.

last time I flashed another driver for not having their lights on, 4 gang members followed me home and killed me as part of a gang initiation.

Yes, but they're too busy looking at their phones to notice.
