I often see non-colors in color (e.g. gray as purple, black as navy blue). I also can correct a misidentified color. If I see purple as gray but am told that color is really purple, I will eventually see it as purple. My color deficiencies are from optic nerve issues, not rods and cones. It gets crazy sometimes.
