I have a childhood friend who killed an undercover cop execution style and is now doing life in Angola.
He wrote me a letter about 13 years ago telling me to stay out of trouble, I don't want to end up where he's at, etc.

Getting executed is so trashy.

Nope, Traces. FOD was a lot of staged scenes depicting various deaths. Traces of Death was 100% real footage, and impossible to watch all the way through.

Daniel Pearl video made me throw up when I was like 15/16 years old.
They saw his head off with a small dull blade as he screams bloody murder then dangle his head in front of the camera.

My uncle witnessed the John Evans execution by electric chair in Alabama in, I believe, the early 80s.
Uncle was a journalist then and had gotten to know Evans pretty well while doing several interviews with him about his story that was released the day after he died, I think.
Evans asked him to be there, and I think it messed my uncle up pretty good. I'll see if I can find the article.

I saw that one and another. Made me want to kill jihadists, so that was useful.

I can handle a lot, but I cannot watch someone get their head cut off. That's about all that I can't handle.
Some of the cops and military guys I know can look at anything and not even blink. It's amazing how desensitized they get to this stuff very quickly.
