No joke, have a friend that started going to garage sales with his wife after his son pasted to get them out of the house on the weekend. Fast forward 3 years and he is doing the parts too, plus buying clearance items in bulk. Has a warehouse and made 75k last year. Got in with amazon prime too and is on track for like 250k this year. Amazing.
I mentioned doing repairs one time to see bikes etc... because I like to work on stuff. He said hell no, much more money in just tearing them apart and selling parts.

I do some IT work and fix computers on the side. Sucks sometimes cause thats what I do all day but the money is pretty good.
