I dont mind multifactor authorizations for some things, but why do I have to click all the duck feet, streetlights, or cat paws to go to a porn site?

Restaurants never returned to pre-Covid service quality. Every single restaurant is understaffed because "nobody wants to work anymore". bullshite. Nobody wants to work for $7.25 anymore, and executives/management would rather put the responsibility on patrons to pay employees more. Look at Chic Fil A. They pay way more employees than the average fast food place and they pay them more money too, and still have good food at reasonable prices. Meanwhile McDonalds is trying to offload the easy job of a person standing at the counter to take orders to a computer that can't understand the words "medium fry".

It's even worse if you have to talk to someone at a call center. They're outsourced to Indians making $4/day because Americans who speak English as a first language without a heavy accent want more than that. Why? Because the CEO could not care less about your experience as long as those savings go into his pocket.

I hate advertisements that have ringing door bells! There are a couple of them currently running and both my dogs go beserk running through the house to get to the front door. I don't care what you're selling, I won't buy it if you ring a damn doorbell on your commercial. Most people who have dogs know very well what I'm talking about with this.

People walking around in pajamas.

Not being able to go somewhere that isn’t full of weed smokers.

Coworkers showing up in T-shirt’s and jeans like that’s considered “professional” attire.

I guess we can call this thread the old folks' bitching about technology thread. Funny, when you're young your eyes are strictly on the future whille old folks tend to look back and relish the past.

Hey man my shirt has a collar and my Skechers are dark brown.

TBH the dress code has become pretty lax even in professional settings. I almost never see a client in person but if I do I wear slacks and a button up collared shirt.

Even client PM types are wearing dark blue jeans with a jacket so the line is pretty blurred.
