I just got a vasectomy so pretty soon I’ll be safely depositing into my wife’s box. Does that count?

Do you think they're easily accessible and unlocked or something equally dumb?

Events of the last 10 years or more have left me with ZERO faith and trust in banks.

Upvote for not calling it a SAFETY deposit box.

You’d have to be a foolio not to have one in this day and age

You must be new so here's how it works: someone posts a thread and I respond with something purposefully retarded and/or a gif

Nope. I'm not 80 years old.

Yes. 70 miles from home at a bank no one would look at.
My cousin will be given the key if I die.
He's my son's parrain, it's enough to care for my son.

Yes. Items in there - my will, documents to have my body donated to UAB medical school upon my death, life insurance documents, deed to my house, title to my car, birth certificate, divorce decree, some family jewelry, dad’s old Rolex
Probably a few other things I’m forgetting. I should probably go and do an inventory if it. My brother has a key and can access it as well.

Research before storing stuff in a bank box.
The recent caselaw has basically given the banks zero liability for losing or just throwing away your stuff. (And it's surprisingly common.)
Caselaw has also given law enforcement lots of leniency to raid at will, seize, and keep whatever they find, even when the raid/warrant/purpose was for someone else's box.
FBI went to a bank and just drilled and emptied ALL of the boxes, just because they could.
Plus the boxes now either lose money or don't make enough for it to be worth the bank's trouble, so most are trying to get rid of them.
You definitely don't see them getting installed at many newly constructed branches.
