Whatever you want to call it, we have a great room with the TV fireplace then there's another room without those that is cozier and a good place to read a book, etc.

We have a room we call "the big room", it has a sectional, big TV, piano, computer, fireplace, etc...then we have a room we call the middle room, its has 2 chairs with ottomans, a TV and its connected to the kitchen where we sit and eat, cook, watch TV, do homework, hang out and talk, bullshite, drink and what not. then we have a sun/pool room with a bathroom, bar, games, TV, sectional/sofa bed, and it opens out into the pool and patio. Then as well as a formal dining room.

from what understand the living room is the formal room and the den is the every day room. When lived in Tara about 10 years ago and had a formal living room and only used it at holidays - i would think more homes have a open floor plan and have slowly phased out the formal living room.
