Yep. Because everyone that drinks those things has one or two a day at most and everyone that has a soda drinks 3-6 an hour over two to three hours.

I think the original point you replied to was that if he was going to waste the calories, he better get a buzz from it.

I'm the same way. I haven't stopped somewhere for ice cream, milkshakes, smoothies, fancy coffee drinks, etc. in years. Probably since I was a teenager. If I'm spending money/calories on something that is liquid, it better have alcohol in it.

Otherwise, water/diet coke/plain coffee it is.

If so, why do you hate yourself? That stuff is like rat poison. Took a sip of a pepsi and I could feel my teeth rotting and my blood sugar soaring. Water, skim milk, and unsweet tea is all the non alcoholic beverages you need

Yeah I drank a few sodas a day and started having some issues which I felt might be related to them. I cut back to like one a week or so...go unsweet tea route now mostly. I feel much better! Upset stomach and gas has waned greatly. No need to go cold turkey but reducing down to one or two per week is not a bad idea on my book.

I love soft drinks. I drink mostly diet drinks. I usually brush my teeth afterwards, though not much risk of cavities since no real sugar. If I could get diet tea, that'd be great. Water just doesn't do it for me when eating a meal. I love milk but it destroys me, even lactose free milk.
