If they're old enough to have kids, give up. They don't have time for your shite.

I still keep in touch with some friends who have moved. One was kind enough to invite me to spend a week with her at her new home in Fort Myers, Florida. We had a great time.

Yes but it's been 40+ years. High school friends, college roommates, people I was close to years ago. We all grew up, grew apart, moved away. One day one showed up at my door just to wish me a happy birthday. We had such a good time I wondered about others so I tracked some of my closer friends down and contacted them. No regrets.
