Did you skip grade school. I know we were taught from books printed in the 70s and 80s when I was growing up but c'mon.

Nah, I had the same books. The same books that told us that the KKK was created, to prevent African Americans from voting... Nothing but the truth is those beauties!

I am a fan of serious alien discussion. I believe that all things related to God (Jesus, angels, etc.) are basically just extra terrestrials coming down and helping humans evolve.

This is exactly where I stand. There is a lot of mentions of UFO and aliens in the Bible if you look at it from an alien standpoint.

I mean they did that too among other things. But I want you to take a step back and realize that you're in a thread about aliens, trying to argue down how fricking awesome humans were and are by pushing our achievement as help from aliens, by being defensive how the KKK is treated in the textbooks for children.

Because if you bothered to flip forward Malcolm X was hardly portrayed in a positive light.

The non-believers do not deal in facts. We're supposed to have all these advanced engineers, yet there is nothing close to a consensus on how the pyramids (as well as other ancient edifices) were built. So, we can't figure it out with all our advanced knowledge so it must be something a far more primitive society figured out that we can't. B.S.

The fact is that alien intervention of some kind was involved in the pyramid construction.

Same with Damascus Steel.

The smartest people in today's society don't work with stone. The smartest people during ancient times would have. It makes sense that they were better at building things with stone without modern technology because they had to.

That being said, I believe in aliens. I just think there is also a logical explanation for how pyramids, etc. were built by man

If modern society can't figure it out, it must be aliens.

That's the arrogance we're dealing with.

Damascus steel was a mix of the method and the material at the start.

People have approximated it's manufacture pretty well recently.

I have an old, antique shotgun that the barrels are made of Damascus twist steel. Am I now to believe that aliens made it?

No. Aliens traveled millions of light years, built some pyramids and artifacts, then rolled the frick out.

Logical.

Lol true Damascus Steel can never be replicated. Wonder why that is? Hmmmm oh yeah that's right maybe because we don't have alien technology.

Maybe they figured it out for themselves and the knowledge was lost over the millennia?

I know, I know. Save your breath. Not possible.

Aliens is much more logical.

The idea that Egyptians were primitive is silly. A lot of knowledge has been lost to history. I believe civilization goes back a lot further than mainstream archeology says it does.

You know why? Cause it you fire currently manufactured high pressure 12 gauge shotgun shells in it, the Damascus Twist Steel barrels will unwind like a "slinky". Aliens must not have thought about that back in the day?

The really simple answer, they did it by doing what they did. And we lost most of the record of how because if they wrote it or diagrammed it, it was on something impermanent and not copied.
