The marijuana now days is extremely addictive. Not physically but pyscologically. Which is the hardest addiction to handle. Sorry to hear about your struggles.
No it is fricking not. You're lying.
Extremely addictive things create addictions in just a few uses. Like heroin.
Smoking good weed 3 times isn't not going to make a single person in the history of mankind addicted to marijuana.
Maybe years of a habit I'd understand the sleep rhythm being off and just the habit being hard to break from a daily schedule perspective.
You shouldn't be allowed to be a pharmacist if you believe what you typed.

People with addiction problems can become extremely addicted to marijuana. (This is just a fact, so... sorry)

It took me 6 years through my late teens and early 20s to come to the realization that I didn't even like the high that weed produces. In fact I kind of hate it.
I have to be careful because I love everything else; coke, acid, opiates, ecstasy, etc., but the easiest to get, mildest and most socially accepted drug just does not do a damn thing for me. I hate feeling goofy and not in control of what I say or how I act and weed affects that more than any other substance I've ever messed with. Not only do I hate how it feels, I also hate the kind of deluded ideas it inspires.
I mean frick, whatever makes people think jam band music is worth a damn definitely is not my thing.

I'm glad I missed the Oxy/Roxy Era, this above sounds like fun.

No they cannot. That is not a fact. You are a dumbass, clinically speaking.

I didn't mean to make you angry and swear at me. The increase for people checking into rehab for strictly marijuana addiction has been rising and rising. (Just look it up if you don't believe it. I'm done here)

It's not you, it's the pot withdrawals. By now he's probably fetal and drooling himself

A. Its not addiction. There is absolutely zero chemical addiction from marijuana. Its habit forming and people get dependent on it to sleep and stuff like that, but there is no chemical addiction.
B. You went even FARTHER and said its "extremely addicting". That is so fricking wrong I don't know how to help you. How did you become a pharmacist?
Things that are "extremely addicting" are things like heroin, morphine, and maybe even meth. Things that can cause addiction in as little as one use and very often in just a few uses.
Marijuana does not do that. It does not come close to that. It isn't in the same stratosphere as that. It is not chemically addictive PERIOD.
Someone could smoke pot all day every day for 50 years and quit cold turkey and be fine minus some sleep rhythm and anxiety issues that will go away.
ETA:
In short, stop using the word "addiction", it doesn't belong here. And certainly don't use the words "extremely addicting". That is just embarrassing for you.

Well, looky here. A pharmacist telling us about the evils of marijuana. Got some pills to sell us, death merchant?

Yeah, that's the thing. Routine is hard to break. Psychological "addiction" (rather, dependency) can occur from marijuana use just like it can from video gaming, gambling, masturbating, shopping, etc. Marijuana isn't special in that regard. However, the likelihood of turning an activity/substance into a routine would obviously depend on the strength and desirability of its effects, not to mention how quickly you achieve those effects.
If you smoke marijuana regularly to alleviate depression or anxiety, it's probably because it provided effective relief from day one, and you continued to use it because there was no reason not to. If you try to quit, you're now faced with the challenge of not only altering your routine, but also dealing with the reemerging ailment for which you sought relief in the first place. In that sense, you could say quitting that substance triggers a physiological response (everything we feel is chemical), which does fall under the definition of "addiction."

It's not physically addicting at all so yes. I used to smoke all the time in college and sometimes a couple years after.
Now I rarely do and it's not a big deal at all. There are days when that's the only thing I want but if I don't have any around, I let it go. From time to time I'll get a bit for those situations and it'll last for awhile

Just bumping to ask registered pharmacist why todays marijuana is so much more addictive than that of the past.
