Are online degrees as respected as "brick and mortar" (for lack of a better term) degrees? If I get my Master's online will I be mocked by my peers and future employers?

I think it depends on which online program/university you take. A lot of actual, respected universities are beginning to go online. An online master's from a legit school vs. Western New hampshire U or Phenoix, etc to me does not carry the same weight.
