Basically in a relationship, do breaks work? And how long into a relationship is a break acceptable/how long of a break is given?

Stop now, if you ask for the break you have strange, if she asks for it she has strange.

Is the goal for either of you to get laid? Because in that sense breaks can 'work'. However, they don't usually do shite for strengthening a relationship.

Hell no they don't, trust me I'm trying to help you not bash you. I'm not sure if you want to take the break or if she does...if she wants to take the break kiss that piece of arse good bye. I feel bad for you I know how it feels and it sucks, I still have trouble from time to time but it'll get better

I'm not an a-hole so I'm not going to say she's sleeping around, but I would just break it off while you still can and try not to talk to her for a few weeks. It gives them time to really think about what just happened, if you find her worth taking back then do it. Best of luck to you, when I took mine back it bit me in the arse but that doesn't mean it will for you.

Sorry again though, break ups are rough. Just know that there is someone out there for you, I'm still looking for mine and I know how cliché that line is but it's true.

It's just an easier way to let you down slowly and end the relationship. Honestly if she asks for a break it's over and you should tell her you are done. Don't mean to get you down but it's the truth.

What if it was another girl she was trying to bring home to you, but just didn't feel right doing such an act while in a relationship?

I guess if you really trust someone a break could potentially work. Chicks usually have this type of shite planned with PowerPoint presentations for their next move at this stage though. However i don't trust anyone..better off just moving on my dude

I can't see how they don't work, at least for one person.

No matter the outcome, the break caused that, which means it's ultimately for the best, so it worked.

This one might, temporarily. Then it will be another, and another, and another. Get out.
